7) Constitutional Militia
I understand the local militia is our greatest Constitutional deterrence against a tyrannical government and I will no longer hold them in disdain, but will serve in any capacity even if I don’t have a gun.
A) Today gun owners are largely separated by those who hunt and those who don’t. If you don’t hunt or shoot a gun for “sportsmanship,” you usually don’t own a gun. But here is a bit about what our Founding Fathers had to say about the “right to keep and bear arms.” Could it be considered a civic duty? Stand by to be “Deputized.”
“The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” —Thomas Jefferson
“Rebellion to tyranny is obedience to God.”
B) It has always been the Constitutional right of every person to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. Don’t let “Katrina” happen to your town or county. Do you following Katrina, the US military was used to disarm the local people?
Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive.
“I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials.” —George Mason
“The militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves, … all men capable of bearing arms;…”
Richard Henry Lee
B) Through the use of the media’s mind control, you have been taught to believe guns are bad. Following WWII, the Chinese leader said, “You can never invade America, because behind every blade of grass is a gun.” Don’t take your liberty for granted. Those who are aware of how liberties are retained have been training for more than 15 years to protect your freedoms. You don’t see them jumping out at every turn to fight the government. The militia is filled with liberty-loving folks with greater constraint than most “activists.” They are, however, prepared to defend your neighborhood from the types of tyranny we are beginning to be threatened with each day–W.H.O.’s Level 6 is full martial law, forced vaccination and guarantine and possible movement to FEMA camps. FEMA has the right to establish “worker camps.” Don’t you smell a rat?
C) Did you know the County Sheriff has the authority to “Deputize” the Militia and make them his “Posse.” Remember the days of “Gunsmoke” when Matt Dillon would go to the Saloon and round up his posse? That is how our County Sheriff can manage to protect your county–with the help of able-bodied men and women ready to perform their civic duty to defend the Constitution against ALL enemies–foreign and domestic.
D) Contact someone you know who you think is prepared to defend your family, even though you have avoided him for years because he owns a gun. Find out how you can support their efforts. The Militia requires administration, logistics, supplies, medical coordination. While they may only be patrolling the border of your town or county, they need folks who are ready to help their efforts. A shot may never be fired if the militia is part of the people, the way our Founders intended.
E) America is the last country on the planet with the “right to keep and bear arms.” Perhaps this HAS been our greatest deterrence against enemy invastion–including a tyrannical federal government.
F) The ready militias are filled with smart people who have trained to keep YOU safe. There is a role for everyone in the militia–at the very least, get out of their way and let them deter further tyranny in your county.
A HOLY ALLIANCE – BIBLE AND GUNS
Pastor Ken Pagano held an “open carry celebration” day at New Bethel Church in Louisville, KY. It was an effort to promote responsible gun ownership. Pastor Pagano says that in many of our history photos people routinely brought their guns to church.
From the The Church of Kaweah adds an Historical Perspective:
The Early American Churches Model for a Trained Militia
Church Militias were in fact the center of the early American Militias. Pastors preached that Jesus was the source of ALL Liberty. The Founding Fathers knew this and often quoted scripture in their writings. The Pastor was usually the best shot and had the best weapons to set the example for the men of the church. During the service the men would sit on the end of the pews with Muskets/Rifles stacked down the center walkway. This served two purposes, one so the men could rapidly get to the weapons in an attack and secondly to keep the women and kids inside the pews for protection. Often the Pastors would lean their rifle against the pulpit and following the sermon he would grab his weapon and head for the door. He did this not to shake hands as today (which I believe is why they do this still today) but rather to fling open the doors and make sure no savages or enemies were lurking about. The pastors of that day were often the default head of the militia with a Veteran in the community being the Executive Officer. Following services the men would parade with Muskets and gear to ensure that Drill and Order were remembered and perfected. There were shooting matches also. The pastor would have ushers who would fine any man who neglected to come armed to church. There are rosters of colonial Militias where the pastor is number one on the list. Now all this historical information is summed up by this….
What the Founders feared most was a cowardly clergy. For if the people did not know that the cause of Liberty and Freedom was a Righteous and Divine Cause they would fail.
The Word of God is full of patriarchs acting on Gods command to make war. Modern Christians choose to ignore this. Here are but a few from the sermon of the Church at Kaweah.
1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
29For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
30As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
31For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
32It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.
34He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
35Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
37I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
41They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
42Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
43Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
48He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
1Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
15It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
We can go on but the Bible is clear the Christian MUST be Militant.
